I appreciate what this forum has done for me. This has been a treasure-trove of obscure product knowledge, automotive repair guidance, and living vicariously through other people’s automotive purchases. I’ve been to half a dozen meets, made a few friends, and exceeded posted speed limit s.

Spokane is the new Seattle, I was hoping to do an oppo weekend this year but the corona killed that idea. At least fintail and token liberal are within driving distance now.

I’m still more than pleased with my move. No place is perfect, there are always trade-offs, but I am pretty content here. Maybe as was born on the east side of the mountains and spent a bit of my childhood here, but it is comfortable. It has everything I need, without the crushing rat race. Probably like Seattle was 50-60 years ago.

Spokane isn’t terrible, it was on my short list when we decided to leave California. Still within driving distance to Missoula and good access to my preferred activities of skiing and mountain biking.
